In our age, photography has become so accessible and normal to the point that most people can take a good photograph and fix it up with one of the hundred apps available on a click.
Handmade paintings or portraits are now made because you want something unique. you want a soul to capture the essence of another soul. A look, a posture, a grin or a subtle smile cannot be always get capture in a photo.
When you get a portrait, you get part of my life as a painter and part of the subject essence captured on canvas and paint.
Landscapes
Capturing the magic of a sunset or the colors in fall. The peace of a nice warm afternoon or evoking the smell of a flower in bloom. That is what it makes me tick; that is what I want to offer share through my paintings.
